Terms

Draft. This text is a working version and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Before going live, add the company details, registration number and competent court, and have counsel confirm that the intermediary role is correctly captured here.

1. Our role

Vacantjet is not an airline and does not operate flights. We list empty legs from connected charter operators and bring requests to their attention. The contract of carriage is formed between you and the operator, and payment for the flight runs directly between the two of you.

2. Availability

An empty leg exists because an aircraft has to be repositioned for another booking. If that booking moves or is cancelled, the empty leg goes with it. Listings are therefore a snapshot and not an offer in the legal sense.

3. Prices

Prices shown are for the whole aircraft, in euro, and are the price the operator holds at that moment. Additional costs such as landing fees, catering or de-icing may be charged separately by the operator.

4. Requests

A request through this site is non-binding and commits you to nothing. An agreement only comes into being when the operator confirms your booking.

5. Our fee

We receive a referral fee from the operator when a booking introduced through us is actually operated. You pay us nothing for this.

6. Imagery

Cabin photography on this site is representative of the aircraft class and does not show the specific aircraft operating a given leg. The aircraft type, seat count, route, departure time and price stated on a listing are the actual values for that leg.

7. Personal data

We process your data as described in our privacy policy. To handle a request we share your name, passenger count and contact details with the relevant operator.

8. Liability

The operating carrier is responsible for the conduct of the flight, for delays, for cancellations and for everything that happens on board. Our liability is limited to the introduction itself.
